Round shaped rolled metal products have a special place in the classification of rolled metal products. They are widely used in many industries, in construction and for carrying out daily tasks. Modern metallurgical industry produces a whole range of modifications of this type of product, making reinforcing iron bars suitable for the following use:
- assembly of technical modules;
- manufacturing of welded structures;
- turning of rivets, bolts, hinges, shafts and gears;
- production of components and assemblies for mechanised aggregates.
Round metal products are offered in several cross-sectional diameters from 6 mm to 10 cm. Small-diameter reinforcing iron bars are used in coils, and larger-diameter preforms are used in bars. The appearance of the end product will be determined by the peculiarities of the preform and final processing. The most valued product is a rolled metal rod, which is made of corrosion-resistant and heat-resistant metal with a special class of surface layer finish.
